2018 Board of Directors Application

Join the Faculty of Federal Advocates' creative, dynamic, and exciting group of Board members. There will be several Board openings for directors with terms beginning in 2018. Each new director will serve a three-year term beginning in January 2018.

 

All members are encouraged to apply. A nominee must be a member of the FFA by the time of the application for candidacy.

 

The FFA is in its twentieth year, and a committed and energetic board is necessary to continue our growth and success. Candidates are expected to attend monthly board meetings and to serve on or chair at least one subcommittee.

 

Diversity will be considered in presenting a slate of nominees. The Nominating Committee identifies qualified applicants for open positions on the Board of Directors. In an effort to increase the effectiveness of the Board of Directors, and to appropriately reflect the diversity of its constituents, the Faculty of Federal Advocates is committed to including people of diverse backgrounds on its Board of Directors, including people of different races, religions, ages, genders, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, national origins, sexual preferences or orientations, medical conditions or disabilities, marital, veteran or family statuses, as well as nature, type and location of legal practice.

 

Candidates must stand for election by the general membership. The result will be announced at our Annual Meeting and Reception on December 5, 2017.
