WEBINAR

This presentation is focused on conducting trial during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. It includes a discussion of firsthand experiences with COVID-19 protocols and restrictions from counsel who tried a case against each other before the Honorable William J. Martinez. This presentation will address the challenges regarding jury selection, witness testimony, arguments, and other aspects of trial, as well as how to best approach them.  The goal of this presentation is to facilitate attorneys’ abilities to adapt to trial settings with masks, social distancing, and other restrictions to better understand how to try a case with these new restrictions and to discuss the importance of counsel cooperation under the Protocol.
