The 73rd Colorado General Assembly was one of the most eventful legislative sessions in Colorado history.  Join the Colorado Municipal League’s General Counsel David Broadwell and Associate Counsel Laurel Witt for legal highlights.  David and Laurel will also discuss hot topics in federal constitutional law from the local government perspective, including 

  • First Amendment--police response to protests; 
  • Second Amendment--state and local regulation of firearms;
  • Fourth Amendment--prospects for excessive force cases under SB 217 in lieu of Sec. 1983 claims;
