Ever reached a wall with a client? Or have a client walk into your office and refuse to speak with you or withhold useful information until the day of a hearing? One way to break through these barriers is through motivational interviewing, a technique to build rapport and quickly get you the information you need. In this program, attendees will learn what motivational interviewing is, some basic motivational interviewing techniques, and how to incorporate these skills into an existing litigation practice or for use with clients who are undergoing active mental health crises.
