Best Practices for Supporting Law Students & New Lawyers

Professor and Associate Dean Alexi Freeman (DU Law) will discuss how to support the next generation of lawyers. Dean Freeman will focus on promoting and engaging inclusivity, belonging, and equity when working with law students and new lawyers, including during the recruiting process, interview process, hiring, and oversight. She will address challenges and biases that might exist and how to work through them, and how to ensure broad cultural competency among attorneys and legal staff with students with many different backgrounds.
