WEBINAR

We invite you to join this webinar, in which experts Emily Garnett of the SEC, David Tonini of the DOJ, and Thomas Krysa, formerly with the SEC and now in private practice at Foley & Lardner, will introduce us to digital currencies such as Bitcoin. They will discuss civil and criminal investigations generally, as well as enforcement priorities and trends, including schemes arising out of the COVID crisis. The discussion will include case anecdotes to help those unfamiliar with this topic obtain a basic understanding of how 21st century crimes and offering frauds are being facilitated by cryptocurrency, in addition to how this can be presented to juries.
